Hello, and welcome to the wonderful world of Ranikade. Nick Rufolo plays the "basses", guitars, keyboards and vocals for Ranikade. Mike Rufolo plays the drums.
Mike Rufolo(Presently 14) was interested in drums when he was ten years old. He finally started getting lessons at age twelve and pursued from there. He has been playing drums for about 4 years now. He has taken and is taking lessons from drummers such as Frank Mediate,Greg March,and Frank Pargliment. He now plays all types of styles of drums and grew up playing David Garibaldi, Tim Alexander, Chad Wackerman, Terry Bozzio, Thomas Lang, Stewart Copeland. He participates in the high school's band.
Nick Rufolo,(Presently 14) has been playing Bass for about 4 years now. He now plays in the Patchogue-Medford High School Orchestra and is also looking foward to playing in the the high schools jazz ensamble. Nick has been taking lessons from very versatile bassists such as Matt Smith, Robert Luaritsen, to Ari Kramer. He grew up listening to great styles and players such as Victor Wooten,Francis Rocco Prestia, Stanley Clarke,James Jamerson,Scott Thunes.
