About me:

I played the bass guitar for various Northampton / Springfield, MA bands in the late 80's through the late 90's. They all were a handfull of different musical outfits; from bubblegum pop, cheeseball hair metal, many classic rock bands, smokey blues and funk, to dirty garage grunge, canyon-yelling folk, and even some throbbing reggae/ska/punk.

After exhaustion from being a starving artist for 10+ years, and the need for some upheaval in my life, I began to visit local recruiters for the armed forces. No one, not even my closest friends or family, were aware of what I was looking into at the time.

As cliche' as this may sound, a lonely, homeless, blind man sitting alone at the bar spoke to me one afternoon. In all truthfulness he turns and says to me out of the blue, "Join the Coast Guard... they treat their people right!"

Completely weirded out by this experience, I ended up joining the Coast Guard a month later, and served our country for 10 years. Over that time, I have seen and done things I never thought possible, and am proud to say I was associated with some truely great things. Without getting into some long laundry list of accomplishments, I eventually ended up here on Long Island, tour complete.

The desire to play, write, and perform music has never left me in those years lost at sea, and thanks to an understanding wife and child, I get to continue on exploring more musical outlets and styles.
